Two more night shifts and then I get to see my husband for the weekend. I miss him terribly. I'm going to get him to make me some mutta puffs (egg curry puffs). ;)

I'm feeling a bit tired, but I am feeling better every day. I decided that I'm not picking up extra shifts for a while until I'm fully recovered.

I kinda don't like to post these kinds of things, but I'd love at least one new shiny icon for Arc Browser. (If I get some people to download Arc, I'll get new app icons!)

Husband told me not to worry too much about money. I kinda have no choice but to worry! Hopefully I'll get some relief from whatever this crud is soon!

Still not feeling that great but I guess it's not as bad as a few days ago. I'll try my best tonight. If If feel too awful, I'll just go back home. It's that simple.

Allergy skin tests are like the embodiment of misery to me. Unfortunately, my immunity to pollen has worn off and every year, I feel like my allergies make me more and more miserable.

I am pretty sick but feeling a bit better now. I hope I'll feel better by then. Had to take Benadryl to induce sleep, so I had to cancel my allergy skin test on Monday. Awww, darn. I am so disappointed. 😉

I tried to call in sick earlier and my workplace said that they have no replacements for me, made me feel guilty, and told me that I could go in anyway. I feel like I'm working in the USA again.

I don't know if the place I'm going to will want me hanging around for long, but I'll just tell them what my department told me--that they have no concern if I'm sick or not.

Sore throat. Coughing. Snotty. Headache. Generally unwell. Not COVID though. Going to work anyway because I need (sorry, REQUIRE) $.

There are two pallets of bricks leftover from our house that I get to move this morning. Of course, that assumes my husband crawls out of bed before 1 pm. Anytime he gives me a time, I have to add about 4 hours to it. I'm also not incredibly sure this will be good for my back too...

Work overnight = loudest, annoying street works in progress. I have so much stuff to do today and it counted on me getting a few hours of sleep. So much for that.

I have no tattoos but I love them. Funnily, one time I went to the tattoo parlour to get one - left with no tattoo but with nipple piercings. They were kind of annoying.

It's gonna be a warm, dry one here today--even warmer, drier, and windier where my husband lives. There is a catastrophic fire danger warning there today which is going to make me worry like crazy. I am really hoping there aren't any bushfires.

I have to go to work today... for 30 minutes. Gotta make sure my N95s fit in case my face is fatter (and it is). Then, I come back and have a rental inspection. Contemplating taking weenie dog to the beach this morning or taking him to see the progress of my house build.

I think I did a horrible thing. Sometimes after I finish getting sour cream, I'll let the dog lick it before it goes in the sink. Well, I let the dog lick one side of it and was going to put it in the sink. My husband grabbed the spoon and put it in his mouth. (He didn't see the dog lick it.) I laughed to myself but didn't say anything. He doesn't even like dog kisses. #dogs

I got tired of my allergies and ALL allergy meds making me very tired all the time. I have to go to a specialist... to do another skin allergy test. If you haven't had the pleasure of having that done, it's nothing I'd suggest to do on your free time. Hopefully I have enough influence to NOT have to do a full panel test. The cost is 4% of what I'd be charged to have it done in the USA over 20 years ago. Sometimes it feels weird to be able to afford healthcare.

It's going to be a hot one today. They're predicting 41C/106F today with absolutely no rain in sight for weeks. This is my absolute least favourite weather. Makes me miss my seaside apartment.

I'm off from work for two weeks, but I feel like all I'm doing is thinking about work. It's mostly filling in knowledge gaps, but still...

It's really cold here in the mornings, and then in the afternoon, it's way too hot. I kind of like this, but throw me in a perpetual winter and I'd be just fine.
