The decline in vegetable nutrients is attributed here to increased CO2 levels, but only makes a peripheral mention of industrial agriculture.
Compare, for example, a head of broccoli from your garden with one from an industrial-scale mono-culture, and it's easy to see why the nutrition has disappeared from commercial "#food."
